Should we book strolling magic, a stage show, or both?
It depends on your room, your schedule, and your headcount. Strolling magic works best while guests are mingling during a cocktail hour, reception, or dinner. As a planning guide: up to 50 guests, about 60 minutes; 50 to 100 guests, about 90 minutes; 100 to 150 guests, about two hours.
These are flexible ranges, not hard limits. Above 150 guests, or when everyone is seated together and you want one shared moment, a featured stage show is usually the better choice. Many galas and conferences do both: strolling as guests arrive, then the full show once the room is settled.
Can the show be customized to our company?
Yes. Names, inside references, company milestones, and even your product can be worked into the act. Tyler learns what matters to your team on the planning call, so the show feels built for your company rather than dropped into it.
Is the material appropriate for a mixed corporate audience?
Every show is 100% clean. The comedy lands for executives, clients, and new hires in the same room. Volunteers are invited, never pressured, so nobody ends up embarrassed in front of colleagues.
What does Tyler need from the venue?
For strolling magic, very little. Tyler performs among your guests, so no stage, microphone, projector, or dedicated performance area is needed. He just needs access before guests arrive and a secure place to store his case.
For a featured show, requirements depend on audience size, room layout, and the venue's production capabilities. A raised stage is preferred for larger audiences, though Tyler can perform from the floor when there is a clear performance area and good sightlines. Many smaller events can use his compact professional sound system.
Ballrooms, theaters, conferences, and larger corporate productions receive a technical rider in advance covering:
- Stage and performance-area requirements
- House sound and microphone needs
- Projector and screen requirements, when used
- Lighting and electrical access
- Load-in and sound-check timing
- Parking and venue access
- Any applicable travel or overnight requirements
For a standard stage setup, Tyler schedules a sound check 45 to 60 minutes before doors open. More time may be needed when the event involves projection, house production, or a larger technical setup.
Can Tyler provide insurance and vendor paperwork?
Tyler is fully insured and can provide a certificate of liability insurance for the client or venue. When required, the client or venue can be listed as the certificate holder or additional insured using your organization's exact legal name and requested wording.
A completed W-9 and standard vendor information can also be provided for procurement and onboarding.
What does a corporate booking cost?
